Do you Guys bet on quantum or biological computing?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the comparison between quantum computing and DNA computing, with a preference expressed for quantum computing due to its potential for lower error rates and greater reliability. It highlights the necessity of conventional computing as an interface for both quantum and DNA computing, suggesting that this will influence the eventual choice between the two technologies. The consensus is that both quantum and biological computing will evolve independently, each serving distinct applications. Quantum computing is particularly noted for its ability to enhance artificial intelligence, providing a competitive edge over biological computing.

what are "hoy guys" ?

Sorry i meant you guys* i am Venezuelan and my phone keeps correcting english to spanish words

Its hard to say but I think a lot more and promise are in quantum computing than in DNA computing. I think has a certain amount of error and uncertainty that is far greater than quantum computing but that's just speculation at this point.

Don't forget though, we still need conventional computing to interface with either DNA or quantum computing and this will drive which one is chosen eventually.

Yes, we do. I bet on both.
Each has it's own applications, so each will develop at it's own independent rate.

Thread 'Urgent: Physically repair - or bypass - power button on Asus laptop'
Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL. We can get into how and why it got wrecked later, but suffice to say a kitchen knife was involved: These buttons do want to NOT come off, not like other lappies, where they can snap in and out. And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
