Electromagnetic Wave Scattering

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the search for academic papers related to "Depolarization and Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves from Moving Surfaces with Roughness." A participant suggests using Google Scholar, which provides access to a wide range of scientific and engineering journals. Despite attempts to find relevant literature through various databases like Scitation, IOP, EP, and lanl, the original poster has not located the desired information. They mention a specific interest in the dynamics of boundary conditions affecting scattered waves, noting that most existing studies focus on static boundaries. A reference to a related paper on bistatic scattering and depolarization of rough surfaces is provided, but it does not address the dynamic aspect the poster is interested in.

Hi everyone,

Have anyone ever seen a paper on "Depolarization and Scattering of Electromagnetic Wave form Moving Surface with Roughness" or something relevant?

I'll be thanks if give me a reference.

Cheers

I don't know if it will help, but you can try the above web site. It is a new service from google which has most scientific and engineering journals as its data base.

I did.

I've already tried it, also have searched in Scitation, IOP, EP, and lanl but fail to find what I'm looking for.

I took a quick look at the google scholar site using "electromagnetic wave scattering" and got a lot of hits. Try sifting through it - you may find what you want.

I am not sure what you are looking for, but the google scholar engine produced this on the first page:

Thank you guys. My problem involves dynamical boundary and the effect of its dynamics on scattered wave. All of what I've found have paid on static boundary.

Thread 'Inducing EMF Through a Coil: Understanding Flux'
Thank you for reading my post. I can understand why a change in magnetic flux through a conducting surface would induce an emf, but how does this work when inducing an emf through a coil? How does the flux through the empty space between the wires have an effect on the electrons in the wire itself? In the image below is a coil with a magnetic field going through the space between the wires but not necessarily through the wires themselves. Thank you.
I was using the Smith chart to determine the input impedance of a transmission line that has a reflection from the load. One can do this if one knows the characteristic impedance Zo, the degree of mismatch of the load ZL and the length of the transmission line in wavelengths. However, my question is: Consider the input impedance of a wave which appears back at the source after reflection from the load and has traveled for some fraction of a wavelength. The impedance of this wave as it...
