Just for fun and FYI. No ghosts arguments please.

I've been to two of these hotels. Once I went to a banquet at the Queen Mary and proceeded to get really drunk with a bunch of engineers. Late that evening we ditched the party and explored the "no-access" areas deep in the bowels of the ship. We walked around for hours before we got caught. We saw areas that appeared to be relatively untouched since the ship was decommissioned. We also stumbled into a section of the ship used only for Holloween tours. The first indication of this appeared to be a human corpse sitting in a chair; which did give us quite a start for a moment.

Frito had purchased a snack food plant near Lima, Peru, and sent me down to oversee the upgrades to the systems and the startup. Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
