Da Vinci's Leda and the swan, but hand drawn and only Leda's head.
I have it because one day when I was a teenager, I was looking up Da Vinci art on google, and I stumbled upon this picture, I thought it would make a nice Avatar.

It's a Mandelbrot fractal. I really like math, patterns, and symmetry.

I totally didn't know that was a bicycle until I saw this. I guess I never really looked too hard at it.

My avatar is the doom guy. I chose him because it caught my eye when I was first choosing an avatar picture. No other reason than that.

It's me about four years ago at Notting Hill Carnival. I always thought it was a cool picture and the green went with the Mentor theme.

And the Banker, inspired with a courage so new
It was matter for general remark,
Rushed madly ahead and was lost to their view
In his zeal to discover the Snark.
But while he was seeking with thimbles and care,
A Bandersnatch swiftly drew nigh
And grabbed at the Banker, who shrieked in despair,
For he knew it was useless to fly.
He offered large discount—he offered a check
(Drawn "to bearer") for seven-pounds-ten:
But the Bandersnatch merely extended its neck
And grabbed at the Banker again.
Without rest or pause—while those frumious jaws
Went savagely snapping around—
He skipped and he hopped, and he floundered and flopped,
Till fainting he fell to the ground.
The Bandersnatch fled as the others appeared
Led on by that fear-stricken yell:
And the Bellman remarked "It is just as I feared!"
And solemnly tolled on his bell

A family photo with the desperate Jubjub Bird:

I wanted something fancy and feminine that was gentle to the eyes, but in the end I couldn't get it to be fancy, neither feminine :sorry:. Not to mention the halo isn't symmetric. I made the original halo pink, but it was too strawberry (too girly, I wanted more balance) and I changed it for purple. This was the original one I made:

As you can see the halo isn't either symmetric (gosh, it's so hard for me, I'm not good at art). And it's too girly. I want feminine, but not too much.

That's obviously emanymosla, duh.

By the way, I always though your avatar was the Halo guy. That I never played Doom nor Halo might have contributed to the confusion.

I like trains, especially electric ones. This is a closeup of part of the logo on the side of this car (not from this picture, though):

This is the cover of a book my parents gave me when I was about six. There was a whole series: dinosaurs, prehistoric mammals, moths and butterflies, and this one on "Beginning Science."

As a grownup person, I really like the picture on the front--showing boys and girls having fun with science. I do volunteer work with fifth graders in the US, and the kids I work with still think science is a fun thing to do. Sometime after this, they have a rotten experience with the subject and are taught to dislike it!
