Exploring the Universe: A Beginner's Journey in Science and Language

Ok, so, where should I start?
There are so many ways to... I'd have liked to say good evening to everyone, as here in Italy it's going to be supper time soon; I then realized that I'm attempting to write this in the best English I'm capable of. This is an international forum! I cannot introduce myself to the world by referring to the solar time of my own country... Or can I?
Correct me if I'm ever wrong. I'm new I'm this forum, and I'm writing here with a language which is fairly "young" to me, about my new passion.
As I've just started learning about universe works, and I'd like to know much more about it.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
