AI Thread Summary
Physikniks face criticism for their unconventional practices, with some arguing that engineers would struggle without proper peer reviews, unlike the perceived self-serving nature of certain scientific circles. The discussion references a diagram that challenges established thermodynamic principles, suggesting a radical viewpoint on energy conservation. Participants debate the validity of these claims, with one asserting their engineering background and experience with peer review processes. Tensions rise as personal insults are exchanged, leading to a call for the discussion to remain focused on physics rather than personal attacks. Ultimately, the conversation highlights a clash between differing views on scientific legitimacy and the role of peer review in engineering and physics.

Why do Physikniks operate such bizarre practices? Engineers could not survive if they had to rely on Peer reviews by a circle of self serving Maypole dancing, consenting adults. Without engineers there would be no taxes for Physikniks to piss up the wall; in their struggle for survival.

Diagram 2 at http://www.thewebspert.com/cresswell/ clearly destroys thermodynamic Guessology and that's just the tip of the biggest iceberg since Pontius was a Pilot.

I'm an engineer, and I'm subject to peer review literally all the time. You seem to have a very narrow (and poor) understanding of the way scientific establishments operate.

hooray for free energy?

<i understood just about NOTHING that was brought up in that link. is he somehow suggesting that conservation of energy is a sham?>

You are not an engineer. You are a student with delusions of grandeur. I know only too well how "scientific" establishments operate.

They do not defecate into a flush toilet. They defecate into the brains of fellow consenting adults.

It is your democratic right to die stupid. You do not have the right to take innocent people with you.

Fight with me and you will die like a washed up Vaudeville comedian.

Sorry Dude, This is a board for dissucussing physics not abusing others.

Locked.

As comedic as this thread was, I must argue one plain fact: I hold a BSEE from Virginia Tech, and work as an (drum roll) electrical engineer.

Thread 'Is there a white hole inside every black hole?'
This is what I am thinking. How much feasible is it? There is a white hole inside every black hole The white hole spits mass/energy out continuously The mass/energy that is spit out of a white hole drops back into it eventually. This is because of extreme space time curvature around the white hole Ironically this extreme space time curvature of the space around a white hole is caused by the huge mass/energy packed in the white hole Because of continuously spitting mass/energy which keeps...
Why do two separately floating objects in a liquid "attract" each other ?? What if gravity is an emergent property like surface tension ? What if they both are essentially trying to *minimize disorder at the interfaces — where non-aligned polarized particles are forced to mix with each other* What if gravity is an emergent property that is trying to optimize the entropy emerging out of spin aligned quantum bits
