I Has anyone worked with electrets?

  1. Jan 9, 2017 #1
Everyone has magnets, but I was wondering what is their electrical equivalent. OBviously an electron is charged but I can't manipulate it.

    I have found this:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electret

Do you know this materials? Is it possible to purchase some electrets in a store?

Try a search on the forum for electret in thread titles, you'll find lots of previous discussion.
