Hello,

I've recently joined and I'm looking for suggestions of a good starting point around here(other than the forum rules, obviously).

What is a good forum area to start into get more familiar with the "meat and potatoes" of everything available here?

Any particularly interesting and informative threads to start with?

It really depends on your interests. Many of the forum sections have a FAQ or Reference thread stickied to the top of the thread list. For example, The Electrical Engineering has an excellent sticky titled Useful EE Links and Search Engines.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
