AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the recent recovery of Edvard Munch's paintings "Madonna" and "The Scream," which were stolen two years ago. Experts report that the artworks were found with only minor damages, following a tip-off from notorious bank robber David Toska. Toska is seeking leniency in his own legal troubles, but many believe he orchestrated the theft to distract law enforcement from his gang's activities, which included a violent bank robbery resulting in a police officer's death. The incident has garnered significant media attention in Norway and Belgium, highlighting the complexities of crime and justice in this case.

"Hey, I'm back!" the Madonna Screamed

Actually, this was not a reference to myself.
Rather, it refers to the fact that yesterday, the two paintings "Madonna" and "Scream" by E. Munch that were stolen two years ago in a daring raid, were found again with only minor damages, according to the experts.

The police was tipped off by the high profile bank robber David Toska, who by this action hopes to get a more lenient treatment in jail.
Since, however, it was most probably D.T. himself who ordered the robbery of the paintings in order to divert the police's resources from focusing on his own gang's bank robbery (in which the policeman Arve Sigvart Klungland was killed in a shoot-out before the robbers escaped), few Norwegians think he ought to get off any lighter.

Anyhow, that is what's happening over here right now..
(Besides, I've been told that I resemble D.T. somewhat..:frown: )
