I'm pretty stoked to have found this site! . . . I think. There's this project that has consumed my mind for the past two years, but I am definitely a layperson without a clue where to start. I've been searching in vain for the information I need, but so clueless am I that I am unsure if I've even been searching for the right information! I think that I will have more success making queries of people rather than of Google, so here I am!
Like I said, I'm a layperson, so I hope not to draw too much ire from y'all with my physics 101-caliber questions, but one must start from the beginning to get to the middle, to say nothing of reaching an end, (if such a thing even exists); I'm here to learn!
