How Can I Improve Scientific Accuracy in My Science Fiction Writing?

Engineer, writer. My math is (or used to be) strong. My physics interest is mostly massive scale, and my knowledge there is weak.

My main interest here it to minimize the butchering of science in science fiction stories I write.
