AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on resolving an ADS EM simulation issue related to schematic and layout cell organization. A user discovered that having a schematic in the same cell as the layout while attempting to simulate from a different cell caused problems. The solution involved deleting the extra or empty schematic in the EM layout cell, which successfully resolved the issue. Another participant confirmed that this advice was also helpful to them. Proper cell management is crucial for successful simulation in ADS EM.

TL;DR Summary
Hi all,

I'm new to ADS, so I followed a youtube video in designing a Wilkinson power divider to Co Simulate. I was able to get through the EM simulation part, but I am getting the following error in the schematic simulation portion:

"There is no corresponding terminal for `P1' in the netlisted view "

Any help will be much appreciated.

Can you show the Netlist View? What is P1 supposed to be?

Thank you for responding. Someone helped me and it turned out I had a schematic created in the same cell as the layout, and in the meantime I was trying to simulate the testbench in a schematic in a different cell, and apparently that is not okay. Deleting the extra/empty schematic in the EM layout cell solved my problem.

Thanks,

Tadeh

thanks a lot for the post, it also helped me.

Thread 'Weird near-field phenomenon I get in my EM simulation'
I recently made a basic simulation of wire antennas and I am not sure if the near field in my simulation is modeled correctly. One of the things that worry me is the fact that sometimes I see in my simulation "movements" in the near field that seems to be faster than the speed of wave propagation I defined (the speed of light in the simulation). Specifically I see "nodes" of low amplitude in the E field that are quickly "emitted" from the antenna and then slow down as they approach the far...
Hello dear reader, a brief introduction: Some 4 years ago someone started developing health related issues, apparently due to exposure to RF & ELF related frequencies and/or fields (Magnetic). This is currently becoming known as EHS. (Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a claimed sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, to which adverse symptoms are attributed.) She experiences a deep burning sensation throughout her entire body, leaving her in pain and exhausted after a pulse has occurred...
