AI Thread Summary
To successfully transfer programs from ticalc.org to a TI-89 Titanium, ensure that the programs are compatible with the calculator's operating system. Non-flash programs may not appear in the apps list, as they do not have icons associated with them. To access these programs, navigate to the home screen and use the VAR-LINK feature by pressing 2nd and then the minus key. This method allows users to view and manage all transferred programs, including those that do not show up in the main menu.

I recently bought a TI-89 Titanium and I want to put some of the programs on ticalc.org onto it. I downloaded the program and dragged it into the TI connect program and it transferred but didn't show up on my apps list. I tried it with other programs to and got the same result what am I doing wrong?

If the programs aren't flash, they won't be showing up on the menu with icons. Try going to the home screen and then VAR-LINK (press 2nd then minus).

There is also an interview with Milagros Miceli (appearing in both documentaries) on Youtube: I also found a powerpoint presentation by the economist Uma Rani (appearing in the French documentary), AI...
