How do I solve the 2 questions below?:

Questions 23 24
A 0.l kilogram block is attached to an initially unstretched spring of force constant k = 40 Newtons per meter as shown above. The block is released from rest at time t = 0. (the image is attached below).

23. What is the amplitude of the resulting simple harmonic motion of the block?

dunno wat else??

The Attempt at a Solution



I tried plugging in those 3 equations together and manipulating equations. couldn't get anything though. Someone please help. I think I'm missing an important equation.

How far does the spring stretch when the net force on the block is zero? i.e. when k·|x-x0|=mg .
