How Do You Send a Counted 'Thank You' on a Website?

I see some 'thanks' have appeared in my own 'results' ...

I have been 'clicking' around but haven't found the secret how to say that to others...

How do you send such a 'thank you' to someone so it gets 'counted' for them...

The "Thanks" button is at the bottom left of every post, right next to the "Report" button.

It's got to be working because I received some 'thanks' which I never noticed previously.

OMG! I only received TWO! One third of my thanks are missing it seems. Feeling one third better about myself, I must say!

I just sent you three more, this time individually numbered #4,#5,#6.

We should have numbered the first three.

This also shows I can count to six...

Edit: However, if I had much ability, I would have been able to find the 'thanks' button myself!
