How is phasor analysis used in nonlinear systems?

Click For Summary
Phasor analysis is generally ineffective when applied to nonlinear systems, as it relies on linear assumptions. In such cases, real-time functions and Fourier analysis are more appropriate for analyzing system behavior. The discussion highlights the limitations of phasor analysis in capturing the complexities of nonlinear dynamics. Further clarification on the specific aspects of nonlinear systems is requested to deepen the understanding. Overall, phasor analysis does not adequately address the challenges posed by nonlinearities.

Hello,

What happens when phasor analysis is applied to nonlinear systems?

could someone explain me how it would work?

Thanks

From my knowledge it goes out the window. You have to use real time functions and probably Fourier analysis.

Can you please elaborate your question.
