would anyone know how to do this by any chance?:rolleyes:

The temperature of a swimming pool is 32ºC at 2 p.m. in the afternoon. At 6 p.m., its temperature decreases to 26ºC. Given the pool contains 1200 liters of water and water’s specific heat is 4.186 J/gºC. How much heat does the pool lose to the atmosphere in 4 hours? (Assume 1 lit = 1 kg.)

50.208 J

40.116 J

286800000 J

5776800000 J

57768 J

i have no clue as to which one it is and i need to turn in this exam soon =/
thanks a lot, i just need a little help.

use waters density to find out how many grams of H20 you have then use
q=mvdeltaT to find q.

Hope this helps.
