SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on calculating the integral involving the function sin(x²). A key suggestion is to rewrite sin(x²) as cos(π/2 - x²), which relates to the real part of the complex exponential ei(π/2 - x²). Despite this hint, participants express difficulty in executing the calculation, indicating a need for further clarification or alternative methods.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of integral calculus
  • Familiarity with trigonometric identities
  • Knowledge of complex numbers and exponential functions

The most I can say is to write sin(x2) as cos(π/2 - x2) which is the real part of ei(π/2 - x2)

EDIT: Try tiny-tim's hint

I'm sorry I still don't know hot to calculate it.
