How to calculate tire rotation per sec/min/hour

Click For Summary
To calculate tire revolutions per second, minute, or hour using tire size and speed in km/h, the formula involves the tire's circumference and the vehicle's speed. First, determine the tire circumference by using the formula: Circumference = π × diameter. Then, convert the vehicle speed from km/h to meters per second. Finally, divide the speed by the tire circumference to find revolutions per second, and multiply by 60 for revolutions per minute or by 3600 for revolutions per hour. This method provides a straightforward way to calculate tire rotations based on the air valve reference.

Hello,

Can someone help me with a formula for calculating a tire revolution per sec/min/hour taking as reference the air valve?

The variables are tire size and speed in km/h.

Thank you anticipated.

Thread 'Correct statement about size of wire to produce larger extension'
The answer is (B) but I don't really understand why. Based on formula of Young Modulus: $$x=\frac{FL}{AE}$$ The second wire made of the same material so it means they have same Young Modulus. Larger extension means larger value of ##x## so to get larger value of ##x## we can increase ##F## and ##L## and decrease ##A## I am not sure whether there is change in ##F## for first and second wire so I will just assume ##F## does not change. It leaves (B) and (C) as possible options so why is (C)...
