Please show me how to integrate a natural log function. Both w and d are constant. This is not a homework. This is part of the electromagnetic problem I am working on. I suspect it is a series representation but I cannot found a solution.

Thanks

[tex]\int[/tex] ln[(y+w)[tex]^{2}[/tex]+d[tex]^{2}[/tex]] dy
