SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on the wireless transfer of biomedical data, specifically ECG and EEG signals, using Zigbee technology. The primary challenge is digitizing analog sensor waveforms and transmitting the resulting digital data to another computer for graphical monitoring. The conversation highlights the use of MEMSIC components, which are compatible with Zigbee, and the necessity of utilizing the TinyOS research software platform for implementation. Documentation for TinyOS is available at its official site.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Zigbee wireless communication protocols
  • Knowledge of analog-to-digital conversion techniques
  • Familiarity with MEMSIC wireless sensor components
  • Proficiency in using TinyOS for software development
NEXT STEPS
  • Research Zigbee network configuration and setup
  • Learn about analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) suitable for biomedical signals
  • Explore MEMSIC wireless sensor products and their specifications
  • Study TinyOS programming and its application in wireless sensor networks
USEFUL FOR

Biomedical engineers, wireless communication specialists, and developers working on projects involving the wireless transfer of medical data will benefit from this discussion.

I want to doing a project for wireless transfer of data biomedical for example data of ECG or EEG ...with zigbee.
The problem is how to transfer the data biomedical form pc to transfer with zigbee towards another computer for the monitoring on interface graphics.

Mr. can you help me ?

You need to digitize those analog sensor waveforms, and then transfer the digital data via the radio link.

I've done quite a bit of work with components from:

They are -- almost -- zigbee. There are other varieties as well if you search for "wireless sensor net".

These particular devices use a research software platform called TinyOS which has a very steep learning cliff. You can find most of the available documentation at:
