The EPA knows all. They know who you are. They know where you live. They'll track you down and feed you to the sea turtles, mwahahahaha... that is if they had any funding.

You should try again, it's quite fun. The waves carry you around.

Right out to sea in some cases. For one the ocean water here is cold, a balmy 55 degrees Farenheit. Last time I went swimming at Pismo without a wetsuit, it was a week before my anatomy returned to normal. So its cold, salty, and frighteningly powerful. Nah, I'll stick to beach bonfires and enjoying the scenery.

That's because cold ocean currents always occur on the west coast, Sucker.

Actually, I'm the only person i know who says 'stoked'. Even people here look at me funny when I say it. I don't know why. I don't even remember where I picked the word up from.
I have used the term "stoked", as in "stoked to the gills", in reference to friends who were pretty "stoked", almost to the point of going into orbit.

Stoking means fueling a fire or boiler, and the term 'stoked' would mean 'fired up!'

From Merriam-Webster:
Etymology: Dutch stoken; akin to Middle Dutch stuken to push
transitive senses
1 : to poke or stir up (as a fire) : supply with fuel
2 : to feed abundantly
intransitive senses : to stir up or tend a fire (as in a furnace) : supply a furnace with fuel
Blame it on the Dutch!
