The discussion centers on the rates charged by tutors, which vary based on factors such as educational level, subject matter, and geographical location. For undergraduate calculus tutoring in the UK, rates are typically around £25-£30 per hour, while in the US, they range from $15 to $40 per hour. One participant mentioned charging $13 an hour and expressed enthusiasm for private tutoring. However, the thread began to shift towards solicitations for tutoring services, prompting a lock on the discussion to maintain focus.

It depends upon what level, what subject, where you are, etc...

say for an undergrad taking calculus 2

In the UK that would be about £25-£30 an hour.

In the US, anywhere from $15 to $40 an hour.

I charge $13 an hour.

i can't wait to tutor privately

This thread is beginning to spawn solicitations for and by tutors, and creating such connections is not a PF objective. Locked.
