Information on the percolation threshold

AI Thread Summary
Information on the percolation threshold, which refers to the point at which increased particle concentration in metals-loaded polymers leads to the formation of electrical pathways and a significant decrease in resistance, can be found in the book "Physics and Geometry of Disorder" by A. Efros. This resource is recommended for its insights into percolation theory. Understanding this threshold is crucial for applications in materials science and electrical engineering. Further exploration of the topic may yield additional academic papers and studies. This foundational knowledge is essential for advancing research in conductive polymer composites.

Can anyone help me find information on the percolation threshold, i.e for when particle concentration is increased to a point when electrical pathways are created and resistance decreases by many orders, for metals loaded polymers.

Cheers

Hi.
I can introduce you a useful book:
Physics and Geometry of Disorder. by A. Efros.
U can find very useful information about percolation theory.

Good Luck.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
