Hi. New member here, a bit different from most.

Background: PhD, chemistry (specifically, physical chemistry)
Current position: Professor in a medical school
Job function: Education and medical director in a clinical laboratory

My career could be characterized as "tweener", 1) between physics and chemistry, 2) between theory and experiment, 3) between academic and commercial, 4) between fundamental and applied, 5) between physical and biological/medical science.
