AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around preparation for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO). Participants share resources, with a notable recommendation for Irodov's "General Problems in Physics," which is primarily a problem-solving book rather than a syllabus guide. Users emphasize the importance of practicing previous years' problems, suggesting that this approach is beneficial for success in the competition. One participant mentions being part of the Moldovan team but not attending, while another expresses urgency in seeking study help due to a last-minute selection for the competition, highlighting the pressure of limited preparation time.
