Would it be unusual...

To see a 13 year old on this forum? And in a bad way?

...I don't see why it would be unusual in the slightest. I started visiting the forum when I was 13!

Thirteen is young, but definitely not too young. There are no age requirements, you just need a desire to learn. Make yourself at home, Biologik, and welcome to PF!

One member that started here at age 13 a few years ago, has been a Science Advisor for awhile.

If it's the one that I'm thinking of, only his disclosure of his age gave any indication that he was so young. He communicated on an adult level even then. I thought that he was in university until he told us otherwise.

There are plenty of older members that act like 13 year olds aswell.

No one cares (should care) about age no matter, whether it's supposed to be positive or negative. Only content, attitude and character matters.
