AI Thread Summary
Separating carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen from cloth without wetting it is not feasible. Burning the cloth does not completely break atomic bonds, and while heating may dry it, it won't achieve the desired separation. The discussion suggests that achieving this separation would require extreme conditions, such as temperatures around 10,000 K. Additionally, the inquiry raises questions about the form of carbon being targeted, whether as pure carbon or in other structures like graphite or diamond. Overall, the consensus is that a simple solution to this complex question does not exist.

is it possible to separate the 3 elements in cloth Carbon, oxygen and Hydrogen without wetting it? Gas? Sound waves? Making the elements heavier?

Burn it?

This question is too bizarre.

Burning does not break all bonds between atoms.

10 kK should do the trick.

without burning it

Heating and burning are two different things.

Looks like you are looking for a simple answer to complicated question. Simple answer is "no".

Well if you heat it sufficiently, it will dry. So if you can collect the moisture, you can make hydrolysis.

By carbon, you mean pure carbon? Graphite and diamond? You want to crystallize carbon from cloth?
