Loader Boom maximum bending moment

In summary, the conversation discusses the problem of finding the maximum bending moment on a boom and the difficulties in solving it. The analysis suggests that the maximum bending moment is +7208.1 daNm, but this value is inconsistent with the shear diagram. The conversation also questions whether the beam should be supported and notes that the forces at various points are reaction forces.

TL;DR Summary: Finding maximum bending moment on a boom

I am trying to solve the problem stated in the picture below.
The answers are given.
I've manage to find the Normal and Shear Forces but I'm stuck at the bending moment.
According to my analysis the maximum bending moment is +7208,1 daNm.
This value is obviously wrong because it is not consistent with the shear diagram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
You can find my analysis in the attached PDF.

Shouldn't this beam be somehow supported ?

I think it is. The forces acting at A,B,D,M are all reaction forces.

1. What is a loader boom maximum bending moment?

The loader boom maximum bending moment refers to the maximum amount of force that can be applied to the boom of a loader before it begins to bend or deform.

2. Why is the loader boom maximum bending moment important?

The loader boom maximum bending moment is important because it determines the maximum load that a loader can safely lift without causing damage to the boom.

3. How is the loader boom maximum bending moment calculated?

The loader boom maximum bending moment is calculated by taking into account the length and cross-sectional area of the boom, as well as the type of material it is made from and the angle at which the load is being lifted.

4. What factors can affect the loader boom maximum bending moment?

The loader boom maximum bending moment can be affected by factors such as the weight and distribution of the load, the angle at which the load is lifted, and any external forces acting on the boom, such as wind or uneven terrain.

5. How can the loader boom maximum bending moment be increased?

The loader boom maximum bending moment can be increased by using stronger and more durable materials for the boom, reducing the weight and distribution of the load, and ensuring that the loader is operated within its designated load capacity.
