AI Thread Summary
The discussion explores the possibility that gravity may not exist as a separate force but could instead be related to magnetism. It highlights ancient structures like Coral Castle, the Giza Pyramid, and Stonehenge, suggesting that these civilizations might have understood "anti-gravity" concepts. The idea is proposed that if gravity were linked to magnetic monopoles, like poles would repel, leading to intriguing implications about Earth's magnetic properties. However, the consensus is that this theory lacks scientific support and is not feasible. The conversation ultimately emphasizes skepticism towards the notion of gravity being solely a magnetic phenomenon.

i was wondering if it is possible that there is no such thing as gravity?

i find the mysteries of coral castle , giza pyramid and stonehenge and such as astounding

i don't know how true the claims are about the ancient people knowing how to do "anti-gravity" but apparently they thought that if gravity was magnetism , then if we have like poles, it repels!

so what if gravity was actually magnetic monopoles at work? Earth is a magnetic monopole as a whole. that's why everything attracts? is this possible?

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
It may be shown from the equations of electromagnetism, by James Clerk Maxwell in the 1860’s, that the speed of light in the vacuum of free space is related to electric permittivity (ϵ) and magnetic permeability (μ) by the equation: c=1/√( μ ϵ ) . This value is a constant for the vacuum of free space and is independent of the motion of the observer. It was this fact, in part, that led Albert Einstein to Special Relativity.
