AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around recent UFO sightings linked to strange metal boxes found along coastal beaches. The authenticity of these sightings is questioned, with skepticism about the credibility of the sources reporting them. Concerns are raised regarding the photographic evidence, particularly the quality and conditions under which the images were taken, suggesting the possibility of a hoax. The lack of coverage by mainstream news outlets further fuels doubts about the legitimacy of the claims, leading to a conclusion that the discussion lacks credible backing and is more akin to gossip than serious reporting.

Peru was still suffering the ills of a recent civil war and I knew it was dicey, but the money was too good to pass up. It was a long trip to Lima; about 14 hours of airtime...
