Navigating the World of Physics: Advice for Junior Students

Hello,
I am a Junior at Old Dominion University. I transferred into ODU with an associate in " computer aided Drafting and Design Technology". So I have to take no electives and only have to take my core classes which happens to be physics, math, and some chemistry. This is why I'm considered a junior even though I've only taken calculus one based physics 1. With many physics classes ahead of me I am in search of words of wisdom, tips, tricks, and even reality checks.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
