Hello everyone

I'm an IB student taking HL physics whose interest goes beyond the course

I registered because, while I was quite active at Physics StackExchange, I wasn't a fan of the community who are quick to down-vote questions that aren't of a certain caliber of complexity. Plus that site is more Q&A-based, rather than discussion-based, and being on several different forums already, it's my favourite way to interact online

Anyway my biggest interests within the realm of physics are electrical engineering and quantum mechanics. I don't know anyone on here so feel free to introduce yourself to me too

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
