Homework Statement

A 2000kg car pushes a 1000kg garbage can at constant speed . The car exerts a force of magnitude CB on the garbage can, and the garbage can exerts a force BC on the car. Which force has greater magnitude, or are they equal? explain

Homework Equations

Fcb=-Fbc

The Attempt at a Solution

Esentially, I drew 2 FBD's and showed one for the car with a force on the right CB ... the second FBD of the garbage can has a force pointing to the left of BC... which is equal and opposite magnitude of CB

Basically i just explained Newtons third law

Is this correct?
