AI Thread Summary
An Australian dog owner discovered a 2.5-meter python in her dog's house instead of her Chihuahua, which had been eaten by the snake. The incident sparked a debate about the value of different pets, with some suggesting that gaining a python could be seen as an upgrade. In contrast, a story about a rampaging elephant that stopped to rescue a buried infant highlighted the complex nature of animal behavior. These discussions reflect varying perceptions of pets and their roles in human lives. Ultimately, the conversation emphasizes the unpredictability and surprising traits of different animals.

One type of pet as good as another??

An australian dog owner received quite a shock the other day, when she opened up the dog house to let the Chihuahua out.

Instead of a little dog, a 2.5 metres long python was there instead. It was still fastened to the dog chain, though by way of mouth...

Technically, she didn't lose a chihuaua (for a while), she just gained a python.

Poor dog, but in general, I call that an upgrade.

A rather brighter story is this one. A killer elephant on a rampage suddenly stopped its demolishing activity of houses and men when a buried infant began crying.

Carefully, the elephant rummaged away the debris around the baby. Then, apparently satisfied that no one important had come to harm, the elephant sauntered back into the woods..
