AI Thread Summary
The mail server issue at PF has been resolved, which caused a two-week delay in sending newsletters and thread notifications. All queued emails were released this morning, resulting in a sudden influx of messages for users. Additionally, registration confirmation emails were not sent during this period, so new registrants should check their inboxes for confirmations. The team apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the email flood. Users are encouraged to verify their registration status now.

Alot of you may have noticed you haven't received any newsletters or thread notifications from PF in the past two weeks. Apparently our mail server was hung up and kept all the emails in queue without releasing them. This morning we fixed the problem and it released all the emails. So we apologize if you received a flood of emails from PF this morning.

Update: Also apparently this means registration confirmation emails were not being sent out. So for those of you who registered within the past couple weeks and haven't gotten your confirmation email, please check now.

I found physics forums and used it to ask questions I was unable to get answered from my textbooks or class lectures. Unfortunately, work and life got in the way and I never got further the freshman courses. Well, here it is 20 years later. I'm in my mid-50s now, and in a...
