In summary, an article discusses the ancestral connections of Sarah Palin and Barack Obama, highlighting their links to prominent figures such as a princess, a president, a superstar, and a vice president. The article questions whether these connections are being deliberately chosen to portray a certain bias. It also mentions the role of the Mormon-run genealogy site in uncovering these connections.

" We all have millions of cousins "

Palin is linked to a princess and a popular democratic president - Roosevelt - in the meanwhile Obama is linked to a superficial superstar and a republican vice president - Cheney.

Royalty is in her roots to contrast her folksy image , Roosevelt for a genuine tendency to serve the people ... all the while Obama is superficial and a Republican - who many blame for the current economic crisis.

Palin has presidency in her roots while Obama has vice presidency in his roots.

I'm not declaring anything here. Is this article biased towards Palin , could it be that they deliberately mentioned these four particular people when they could have picked others? Again

" We all have millions of cousins ".

Yeah, they are 10th cousins....woop-de-do. They should have kept going back further to the tribe of monkies that she doesn't believe in.

You don't suppose that the Mormons who run the geneology site might have any bias...?

Just goes to show that you can't beat the old Urim and Thummim.

1. How are Sarah Palin and Princess Diana linked politically?

There is no direct political link between Sarah Palin and Princess Diana. The comparison between the two is often made in terms of their media popularity and public fascination, rather than any actual political connections.

2. Is there any evidence to support the claim that Barack Obama is similar to Brad Pitt politically?

No, there is no evidence to support this claim. While both Obama and Pitt are well-known figures, there is no real connection between them in terms of their political beliefs or actions.

3. Why are these comparisons being made between political figures and celebrities?

These comparisons are often made for attention-grabbing headlines or to make a political statement. They are not based on any actual similarities or connections between the individuals being compared.

4. What impact do these comparisons have on the political discourse?

These comparisons can distract from the actual issues and policies being discussed, and can also perpetuate stereotypes and oversimplifications of political figures. They can also contribute to the focus on personality and image rather than substance in politics.

5. How can we avoid falling for these types of sensationalized comparisons?

It is important to critically evaluate the source and evidence behind such comparisons and not take them at face value. It is also important to focus on the actual policies and actions of political figures rather than their perceived similarities to celebrities.
