Hello I am a new member to the site, of course since I'm posting an introduction.

I'm 32 years old. I majored in business and worked as a consultant professionally for over 10 years.

I've recently decided that I'd like to take a chance at changing my vocation and am currently preparing to apply to medical school. As part of my preparation I'm currently working on a BSc. with a major in biological sciences or microbiology.

I'm currently taking a first year physics course in order to satisfy some of the general science credit requirements for my degree.

It has been a while since high school physics, but I enjoyed it and did well. The rust is coming off my mind faster than I though but as I'm currently taking my physics course through correspondence, it is nice to have a place where I can discuss questions and ideas and even learn from other contributors on this forum.

Thanks all in advance for any help you may render and hopefully I may be able to aid some of you.Steve S.
