Homework Help: Solar energy into electrical energy through CPVs

  1. Oct 4, 2014 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
How much percent can CPVs (Concentrated Photovoltaic cells) convert solar energy into electrical energy?

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution
According to this page, "http://www.benefits-of-recycling.com/solarenergycars-2/ [Broken]",
20% of solar energy is converted into electrical through normal solar panels but I'm wondering how much would CPVs increase the amount of current generated? It can be a general answer.

Have you tried looking up "CPV efficiency" or finding a manufacturer of CPVs and reading the specs?
