I ran a scan today and found that some 1 has tried sending packets to my pc several times today, can some 1 tell me why they would be doing so?
The discussion revolves around concerns regarding unsolicited packets being sent to a participant's PC, including the nature of TCP connections and potential security implications. Participants explore the reasons behind these activities, their frequency, and possible security measures.
Participants express a mix of reassurance and concern, with some suggesting that the activity is normal and others highlighting potential security risks. No consensus is reached regarding the implications of the detected packets and connections.
Participants note that the frequency of unsolicited packets can vary and may depend on individual internet usage patterns and security measures in place. There is also mention of the importance of understanding TCP and UDP protocols in the context of network activity.
