Thank you Greg for your welcome into the Physics Forums

Physics news on Phys.org
I am interested in physics statics, strength/resistance of materials and the related mathematics. I am an industrial draftsperson: a diploma in a private school and 6 years of work experiences in drafting in several technical areas. I chose to study these subjects instaid of buying expensive and reputated drawing softwares. The sound notions in structural mechanics, applied mostly in the mechanical engineering, will be in usage for centuries. The softwares bought by the employers, are revised or changed too many times. I am 65 years old and am still reluctant to learning to operate the highly expensive CAD softwares. I never bought illegal copies. I presently have the knowledge of a college first year in general & the sciences with calculus. Good Bye.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
Hello! I am a recent graduate with a Bachelors of Science with a major in Mathematics and a minor in physics! I initially wanted to pursue advanced study in mathematics but taking some physics classes in my undergrad ignited an interest in physics for me! I am really interested in Particle and Nuclear Physics and hope to pursue a graduate study in said area some time in the future! Nice to meet everyone! I am happy to talk about physics with you all!
