which brand magnet wire is considered the highest quality, Belden seems to come recommended, any others would be appreciated

Depends on what you mean by "quality." Belden is a well-respected supplier of ordinary magnet wire. If you want high-purity (and conductivity), square cross section (more turns per volume), or other metals, go to a company like MWS. Mil-spec? Space qualified? Radiation hard insulations? There are specialty suppliers for these, too.

magnet wire for basic solid core electromagnets. I don't need anything specific just ordinary magnet wire. I have been buying magnet wire from parawire.com, and really had not considered the "quality" of their product it performs fine, just curious if there was a reputable brand or supplier, Thanks.
