AI Thread Summary
Users are experiencing issues with the EDIT program, specifically related to LaTeX not updating after edits. Some believe the problem may be linked to browser caching, suggesting that reloading the page or clearing the cache could resolve the issue. Despite these efforts, some users report that their edits still do not appear correctly. There is uncertainty about whether the problem is browser-specific or a broader issue with the program. Overall, troubleshooting steps include reloading and clearing the cache to address the LaTeX display problems.

Bug in the EDIT program??

I'm unable to register edits of my post in the thread on the Dirac Delta function

At any rate, it seems there's something wrong with LATEX.

Oh, I seem to have a similar problem. When I edit my post, the LaTeX of my previous post gets generated. I have deleted few posts due to this.

It seems my problems have fixed themselves..

I think the latex problem is due to browser caching. If your edits do not appear to register changes to the latex, try reloading (perhaps even a few times) to see if your revisions eventually turn up.

Yeah, I did that earlier, but it didn't work.
I think it might have something to do with which browser I was using.

If simply reloading does not work, you might want to delete your cache and then reload the page. That should be enough to eliminate caching altogether as a potential problem at work. If the problem still persists, I'm at a loss to suggest what could be going wrong.

I'll try that, thanks.
