Trouble with Yahtzee: Where Did I Make the Mistake?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the calculation of the probability of achieving a full house in Yahtzee. The original poster initially calculated the numerator as 3000, while others pointed out the correct numerator should be 300. The confusion arises from the misinterpretation of the calculation process. The poster later clarifies that they meant the fraction 3000/7776 instead of 300/7776. Ultimately, the focus is on correcting the probability calculation for a full house in the game.

The probability of getting a full house in Yahtzee,
here is my answer: (6C1)(5C3)(5C1)(5C2)=3000
but from different sources, the correct answer is 300
Where did I make the mistake? Please help me.

Since a probabilty must be between 0 and 1, neither of those is correct! Did you mean "the number of different ways"? In any case, it is impossible to tell what you did wrong since you didn't post what you did!

Sorry I meant that the numerator I got was 3000 as in 3000/7776
where the correct answer is 300/7776

I was reading documentation about the soundness and completeness of logic formal systems. Consider the following $$\vdash_S \phi$$ where ##S## is the proof-system making part the formal system and ##\phi## is a wff (well formed formula) of the formal language. Note the blank on left of the turnstile symbol ##\vdash_S##, as far as I can tell it actually represents the empty set. So what does it mean ? I guess it actually means ##\phi## is a theorem of the formal system, i.e. there is a...
