Troubleshooting Expired Token Error - How to Fix

  • Thread starter Thread starter adjacent

AI Thread Summary
The expired token error typically occurs when a user leaves a submission page open for an extended period before attempting to post. This can happen if the thread is opened in a separate window or tab and is left idle for several hours. A simple solution is to refresh the page before submitting the response. Additionally, incorrect system date settings can also lead to this error, as demonstrated by one user who discovered their date was set to 2013. Ensuring both a refreshed page and accurate system date can prevent future occurrences of this issue.

In most cases it means you opened the thread in a separate window/tab, left it for several hours, and then tried to answer. Just refresh the page before answering.

Anyway, I finally got a paper on the same matter as discussed in those forum threads, the fat lens model, got it peer-reviewed, and IJRAP...
About 20 years ago, in my mid-30s (and with a BA in economics and a master's in business), I started taking night classes in physics hoping to eventually earn the science degree I'd always wanted but never pursued. I found physics forums and used it to ask questions I was unable to get answered from my textbooks or class lectures. Unfortunately, work and life got in the way and I never got further the freshman courses. Well, here it is 20 years later. I'm in my mid-50s now, and in a...
