AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around issues with fitting data using the Ezyfit tool in MATLAB. The user initially faced problems due to NaN entities in their dataset, which were resolved by removing those entries. However, they still encounter challenges as the fitting process only works for one dataset at a time, despite having a large set of approximately 500 datapoints. While the user successfully obtained a fit using Excel and attempted to use those coefficients as initial guesses in Ezyfit, they noted that the tool fails to display R² values and does not combine fits from both datasets. The user seeks assistance in addressing these fitting issues and integrating both datasets for a comprehensive analysis.

Hello again,

Part of the problem is solved. There were NaN entities in the dataset. I removed those, now a fit can be made, but still, only through 1 dataset (see figure). How to put the fit through both??

Hello everybody,

I have a very large set of datapoints (about 500). I try showfit with Ezyfit tool, but it doesn't find a fit. I tried it with Excel, and this works. When I use the coefficients from Excel as first guess for Ezyfit, it plots the line but no information about R^2 is shown. What might be the problem... Additional problem is that the fit is only drawn for 1 dataset instead of the 2 together.

Hope somebody can help me
