AI Thread Summary
For those seeking scientific postgraduate papers, particularly in physics, recommended resources include arXiv.org and the Harvard ADS (Astrophysics Data System). While arXiv offers a wide range of articles, users should be cautious as it includes unconventional papers; thus, it's advisable to focus on peer-reviewed journals for research projects. Additionally, accessing dissertations through UMI is suggested. Engaging with research groups at universities can also provide valuable guidance and introductory reading recommendations in specific areas of interest.

This is not really a question on physics itself, but can someone give me a list to a site which shows a group of scientific post graduation papers? Physics if possible.

Physics news on Phys.org
The sites twofish has recommended are excellent, but also a note to beware that arxiv contains all sorts of wacky articles, so if you're using them for a research project you might want to search through appropriate journals.

Otherwise, without having an understanding of specific areas you might find it difficult to use those sites. If there's a research group at your university that cover the area you're interested in I would approach one of the members; convey your interest and ask if they can recommend some introductary reading.

TL;DR Summary: I want to do a PhD in applied math but I hate group theory, is this a big problem? Hello, I am a second-year math and physics double major with a minor in data science. I just finished group theory (today actually), and it was my least favorite class in all of university so far. It doesn't interest me, and I am also very bad at it compared to other math courses I have done. The other courses I have done are calculus I-III, ODEs, Linear Algebra, and Prob/Stats. Is it a...
Yesterday, 9/5/2025, when I was surfing, I found an article The Schwarzschild solution contains three problems, which can be easily solved - Journal of King Saud University - Science ABUNDANCE ESTIMATION IN AN ARID ENVIRONMENT https://jksus.org/the-schwarzschild-solution-contains-three-problems-which-can-be-easily-solved/ that has the derivation of a line element as a corrected version of the Schwarzschild solution to Einstein’s field equation.
