What are the benefits of pursuing a Master's in Aerospace Engineering?

I'm a new member to the forums here. I am currently working on finishing up my Master's in Aerospace Engineering, and have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I also spent a couple years working as a "Design Engineer" where I spent a lot of time using SolidWorks for parts design.
