Good day all! I am new to the forum, and am interested in going back to school as an adult for Physics, Astro Physics, and Mechanical Engineering where it makes sense.
Thank you Greg! I look forward to participating here. I am looking to go back to school at 43 for Astro Physics. Any suggestions of where to start would be appreciated. I live in Indiana currently, do you know any schools you would recommend?
Have a look at our Academic Guidance forum, and start a new thread there with as much information as possible so we can try to help you. Also, maybe do a forum Search first, to see if Indiana schools have been discussed at all yet.
Welcome to the PF!

Thank you for the guidance, I will check it out, and will post in the Academic Guidance forum. Appreciate it.
I am glad to be here. I was a physics student long time ago and didn't touch science and physics for 30 years. Now I am back to physics.
Physics is my love. It took me time in my life to make a mind set for Science. Thank you for having me.
KInd Regards,
Jurica
Hi all,
I'm Mike, about to start teacher training in the UK.
This forum seems good for finding answers to tricky questions especially with real world physics. And significant figures, which I'm trying to find some consistent rules for right now.
Best Wishes
Mike
Hello everyone,
I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands.
My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
