Finally got around to making one of these hello posts! I have had an account here for a while but I think this is like my second post. Anyway I took physics in high-school, which was Algebra based. Currently I'm a Sophomore Computer Science major, math minor, who over this summer read "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman" and have since fallen in love with physics! I plan on taking University Physics 1 this winter quarter, making it a minor and if I continue to like it enough I'll make it a second major.
Anyway, my biggest interest in the field of Computer Science is Machine Learning and Neural Networks. As for Physics, I would have to say my biggest interest is the development of quantum computers and all the work that's going into trying to design and build them currently. I also love anything that has to do with exploring space.

Welcome to the forum! Hope to see more posts from you.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
